The Reeths-Puffer boys basketball team improved to 11-5 overall and 8-3 in O-K Green conference play with a 47-42 victory over Mona Shores on Tuesday on the Sailors’ home court.
With just a 34-33 lead after three quarters, the Rockets outscored the Sailors 13-9 in the final quarter of play.
Travis Ambrose led the Rockets with 16 points and nine rebounds while Jaxson Whitaker added 15 points and four assists.
Logan Brooks totaled seven rebounds for Reeths-Puffer.
Keontae Richards led the Sailors with 14 points while Parker Swartz totaled 11 points and Donovan Russell finished with 10.
Reeths-Puffer will next host Holland on Friday while Mona Shores will host Muskegon.
Mona Shores, which fell to 8-9 overall and 5-6 in the conference, will host Muskegon on Friday.
