The Whitehall girls basketball team fell 49-39 to Ludington on Saturday in a tough non-conference clash.

The Vikings fell behind 20-7 after the first and trailed 33-16 at halftime.

In the third quarter, Whitehall outscored Ludington 15-5 to cut the deficit to 38-31 but the Vikings were outscored 11-8 in the final quarter.

Vharley Klint had a big game with 22 points and eight rebounds to lead Whitehall who are now 3-5 overall on the season.
