The Hudsonville girls bowling team took home first place at the Jenison Invitational on Saturday, defeating Unity Christian 339-326 in the finals.
Hudsonville defeated Wayland 336-289 in the semifinals to clinch a spot in the championship match.
Madelynn Czarnowski led the way for Hudsonville, bowling game scores of 196 and 192 in the finals.
FRUITPORT GIRLS TAKE SIXTH – The Fruitport girls bowling team finished sixth on Saturday at their home invitational.
Brynna Hansen finished second overall with a series score of 563 to lead the Trojans.
FRUITPORT BOYS FINISH SIXTH – The boys Fruitport bowling team also finished sixth on Saturday at their home invitational.
Jray Conklin led the Trojans with a seventh place overall finish, totaling a series score of 531.
