The Spring Lake boys basketball team trailed Hamilton 33-23 at halftime on Tuesday, then roared back in the second half and won 59-50 in O-K Blue conference action.
The Lakers outscored Hamilton 36-17 in the final two quarters. They helped their cause by hitting an amazing 27 of 30 shots from the free throw line.
Porter Saunders led Spring Lake with 20 points. Eli Morrison added 16 points and Kaden George 11. Jackson Core chipped in with six points, nine rebounds, three steals and three assists.
