Sophomore Travis Ambrose scored 25 points, collected 12 rebounds and blocked seven shots to lead the Reeths-Puffer boys basketball team to a 53-39 win over Grand Rapids Union on Friday.
The Rockets jumped out to a 10-7 lead after the first quarter of play and 26-17 at halftime. The Rockets maintained the lead in the third quarter, taking a 36-28 lead into the fourth.
Jaxson Whitaker chipped in nine points while Logan Brooks had six points and eight rebounds for Reeths-Puffer.
The Rockets are now 8-3 overall, and 5-2 in conference play.
