The Hesperia girls basketball team win its first game of the season, defeating Pentwater 39-33 on Tuesday night in a non-conference game.
Emmet Tinkham scored 28 points to lead the Panthers to victory.
Hesperia jumped out to a 13-3 lead after the first quarter and led 22-14 at halftime.
Both teams scored eight points in the third quarter, leading to a Hesperia 30-22 advantage to start the fourth quarter.
Mikaylyn Kenney paced Pentwater with 14 points and nine rebounds.
The Panthers are now 1-5 overall on the season and 0-4 in conference play.
