Grand Haven boys overcome a first-half deficit, beat Grandville 65-54 to improve to 10-1 on the season

The Grand Haven boys basketball team rallied in the second half to post a 65-54 victory over Grandville on Tuesday in O-K Red conference action.

Grand Haven trailed 14-11 after the first quarter and 29-28 at halftime, but then used an 18-9 advantage in the third quarter to grab a 46-38 lead headed into the fourth.

Tucker Kooi paced the Bucs with 18 points, while Bashir Neely chipped in with 15 and Harrison Sorrelle finished with 11.

Grand Haven improved to 10-1 overall and 5-1 in conference play, one game behind first-place Rockford.
