After a close first half, the Muskegon Catholic Central girls basketball team pulled away for a 45-31 victory over Holland Black River on Tuesday in non-conference action.
The game was tied 11-11 after the opening quarter and 22-22 at halftime.
The Crusaders went on an 8-2 third quarter run to take a 30-24 lead into the final stanza before closing out the win.
Claire LaVigne paced MCC with 11 points while both Cara Burkall and McKenna Gentry each had 10.
The Crusaders are now 3-2 on the season and will host Ludington on Friday.
