The Orchard View girls basketball team won a tight non-conference contest against Pentwater 40-34 on Tuesday night.
The Cardinals led 8-7 after the first quarter, 17-16 at halftime and 32-24 through three quarters of play.
Pentwater closed out the game with a 10-8 fourth quarter run but failed to complete a comeback.
Grace Gardner led OV with 15 points while Elizabeth Estelle chipped in with eight.
The Falcons were paced by Mikaylyn Kenney with 11 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks.
Jocelyn Richison added 10 points and six steals for Pentwater, while Haidyn Adams had six points, five rebounds and three steals.
