Clair Meacham’s 18-point and nine-rebound game led Montague to a 38-35 girls basketball win over Mason County Central on Thursday in a West Michigan Conference game.
The Wildcats trailed 12-11 at the end of the opening quarter before tying the game 16-16 at halftime. Montague remained behind 28-24 heading into the final quarter before closing out the game on a 14-7 run.
Mason County Central was paced by Grace Weinert with 13 points and four assists, while Wren Nelson added 10 points and seven rebounds.
