The Mona Shores hockey team faced its toughest test of the season so far on Wednesday and skated away with a 3-0 victory over Forest Hills Central at Lakeshore Ice Centre.

The Sailors improved to 4-0 on the season. They have won their games by a combined score of 29-2

The first period was scoreless, then the Sailors took control in the second with a pair of goals by junior Trent Benedict, who now has 11 tallies in four games.

Jack Nanna added the final for the Mona Shores in the third period.

Isaac Habeltler, Ty Langlois, Kolin Jackson and Noah Lepzinski all has assists for the Sailors, who had a 50-14 advantage in shots on goal.

Mona Shores will return to action on Saturday in a road game against Byron Center.
