Kenowa Hills hockey team gets a conference victory with a 4-2 win over Holland West Ottawa

The Kenowa Hills hockey team posted an exciting 4-2 victory over Holland West Ottawa on Friday in Rue Conference action.

The Knights took a 2-0 lead with goals in the first and second period, then held on for the victory.

Trevin Laming had a short-handed goal and two assists for the Knights. Justin Mack scored the first goal of his high school career and also had an assist.

Brock Hearth also had a goal and an assist while Jack Jeffreys scored the game-winner for Kenowa Hills.

Freshman goalie Cody Palmer stopped 39 of 41 shots to collect his second win of the season.
