The Hudsonville hockey team experienced a frustrating loss on Friday, falling 1-0 to Jackson Lumen Christi in the first round of the Jenison Holiday Tournament.
Jackson Lumen Christi scored the only goal of the game in the first period. Hudsonville managed 17 shots on goal but couldn’t get anything past Lumen Christi goalie Matt Hoop.
The score might have been worse, but Eagles goalie Ryan Tornga kept things under control by making 30 saves.
The Eagles will be back in action on Saturday afternoon in the consolation game of the tournament.
