[1]RETURNING STARTERS
Jake VanderWilk (6-3, senior forward) is a disrupter on defense and very active on the boards. Hart won’t run plays for him, but he will still find ways to get involved.
Parker Hovey (6-3, junior, guard/forward) averaged 12 point and 8 rebounds as a sophomore. He’s a complete player who can score, defend and rebound while also having great vision. All-Conference honorable mention last year.
Tony Rayo (5-11, junior, guard) is a pass-first point guard. Doesn’t look to score but always looking to get teammate involved.
Kohen Porter (5-10, senior, guard) brings a lot of energy on defensive end and will be a source of points from the perimeter.

TEAM STRENGTHS
Experience will be a benefit for Hart this season, since the Pirates only lost two seniors from last year.
TEAM CHALLENGES
The Pirates can be too passive at times, according to their coach. Hart will need to dictate the game more often to have more success.
