David Schillinger scored 23 points to lead the Ludington boys basketball team to a 73-40 victory over Manistee on Lakes 8 Conference action on Friday.
Peryton LaCombe followed with 18 points for Ludingbton and Kol Anthes contributed seven.
The game was tied after one quarter and Ludington held a slim 27-20 advantage at halftime. But the Orioles exploded in the third quarter and had a 53-29 lead headed into the fourth.
Ludington improved to 2-2 for the season, with a 2-0 record in the Lakes 8 Conference.

KENT CITY 60, MORLEY-STANWOOD 46 – Kyler Larson led the Eagles with 21 points, followed by Hayden Carlson with 16.
Kent City led 15-10 after one quarter, 31-20 lead at halftime and 47-33 after three quarters.
The Eagles are now 3-1 for the season, with a record of 2-0 in conference play.
FREMONT 66, CENTRAL MONTCALM 24 – Logan Nelson had his best all-around game of the season for Fremont with eight points, four assists and five steals.Jordon McDonald had 14 points, six rebounds and four blocks for the Packers while Chaz Miller added five points, five assists and four steals in his first varsity game.
LAKEVIEW 49, HESPERIA 37 – Zach Glenn led Hesperia with 13 points.
Lakeview led 14-10 after one quarter, 31-21 at halftime, then took control with a 14-2 advantage in the third quarter.
Hesperia showed fight in the final quarter, outscoring the Wildcats 14-4.
The Panthers are now 1-3 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
