The Fremont girls basketball squad lost to Sparta 53-9 on Tuesday night.
The Packers scored the first three points of the ball game but allowed 23 straight points and trailed 23-3 after the opening quarter.
The Spartans outscored Fremont by a 16-0 margin during the second quarter and led 39-3 at halftime as the Packers committed 17 turnovers in the opening half.
Sparta had an 8-2 advantage in the third and a 6-3 run during the fourth to close out the game.
