The Fremont wrestling squad opened the season with a pair of victories, defeating Montague 61-15 and Jenison by a 49-27 margin.
RJ Thome, Tee Ward, Alex Gleason, Dennis Halasinski, Trey Myers, Michael Romero, Chase Montague and Killian Prewitt each posted victories against both Montague and Jenison.
Fremont’s Daniel Romero, Aiden DeWeerdt and Briar Hambrock each beat Montague, while Hayden Threatt defeated Jenison in their matches.
