The Grand Haven girls basketball team made it a clean sweep for the Bucs on Friday, defeating rival Spring Lake 51-45 in a non-conference game on the road.
The Grand Haven boys team beat the Lakers in the first game of the double feature.
The game was tied 13-13 after one quarter and Grand Haven led 28-25 at halftime. The score was knotted 37-37 going into the fourth quarter, then the Bucs pulled out the win with a 14-8 advantage down the stretch.

Caydee Constant paced Grand Haven with 16 points, Alyssa Hatzel added 14, Zoe Spoelman tossed in 10 points and Molly Long had seven points, 10 rebounds and five blocks.
Alexa Carter and Jennifer Judge had 12 and 11 points, respectively, for Spring Lake.
Grand Haven improved to 4-1 on the season.
