A bad third period sees the Reeths-Puffer hockey team fall 7-4 to West Ottawa

A tough third period saw the Reeths-Puffer hockey team fall 7-4 to West Ottawa on Wednesday night.

Josh Shafer scored the first goal of the night, giving Reeths-Puffer a 1-0 lead before the game was later tied at 1-1.

Isaiah Winters scored to give the Rockets a 2-1 lead before that was quickly answered by West Ottawa.

At the end of the first period, Reeths-Puffer led 3-2 due to a goal from Croix Klint that came before the end of the first period.

West Ottawa scored the lone second period goal to tie the game at 3-3.

In the final period, Reeths-Puffer was outscored 4-1 but Nick Fuller had the lone Rocket goal.

Reeths-Puffer is now 2-4 overall and remains 1-0 in conference play.
