The Whitehall girls basketball team went on a 14-2 third quarter run to pull away from North Muskegon in a 44-30 West Michigan Conference victory on Thursday.
The Vikings are now 2-2 on the season and remain unbeaten in league play with a 2-0 record.
Marissa Strandberg led Whitehall with 14 points and four steals, while McKena Coron added eight points. Charley Klint chipped in with seven rebounds and six steals.
The Vikings led 12-8 after the first quarter, 17-15 and halftime and 31-17 through three quarters.
The Norse were led by Josee Cooke with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Allie Jensen added five points.
North Muskegon is now 1-2 on the season and 0-2 in league play.
