The Muskegon Catholic Central volleyball team defeated Fruitport Calvary Christian in straight sets on Tuesday in the Division 4 district tournament on its home court.

The Crusaders won by scores of 25-6, 25-10, 25-20.

Erin LaVigne led the Crusaders with 19 kills, Emma Maierhauser served seven aces and Claire LaVigne had 24 assists.

Defensively, Maierhauser totaled eight digs and Cara Burkall had two blocks.

MCC, now 22-12 on the season, will host Pentwater in the district championship match on Thursday.
