The Kent City volleyball team downed Holton 3-0 on Wednesday in a CSAA Silver Division game.
The set scores were 25-16, 25-13, 25-10.
Taryn Preston led the Eagles with nine kills. Kaila Krueger had 23 assists while Madelyn Geers and Krueger both served up two aces.
Defensively, Preston had 15 blocks.
Kent City is now 25-5-1 overall and 7-1 in conference play.
Ludington has a tough night at Unity Christian
The Ludington volleyball team had a rough night in a quad event at Hudsonville Unity Christian on Wednesday, losing all three matches.
The Orioles fell to Unity Christian, Grand Rapids South Christian and Zeeland East.
Keelyn Laird led Ludington in kills with 12 and digs with 14. Laird, Jordyn Anderson and Olivia Lynn led in blocks with two apiece. Maddy Vaara had 10 assists while Rylee Stone and Madisyn Wysong each served up two aces.
