The Reeths-Puffer boys soccer team needed a shootout to advance to the O-K Green Conference finals on Thursday.
The Rockets defeated Holland 4-3 in the semi-final contest after outscoring the Dutch by a 5-4 margin during the shootout.
Reeths-Puffer trailed 2-0 at the 12-minute mark of the contest before Liam McHugh scored from 45 yards out.
The Rockets trailed 2-1 at halftime.
Reeths-Puffer tied the game 2-2 early in the second half on a goal from Jordan Moreira that was assisted by Nick Clemens.
Holland regained its advantage seven minutes later.
Liam Smith tied the game 3-3 for the Rockets with 16 minutes remaining in regulation.
Both teams failed to score during the rest of regulation and the 20-minute overtime to force a five-round shootout.
Reeths-Puffer goalkeeper Gage Hopkins stopped the first shot in the shootout for the only save in the stanza.
Darren Patterson, Smith, McHugh, Danny Goodell and Ashton Carpenter each scored in the shootout for the Rockets.
Holland outshot the Rockets by a 25-14 margin.
Reeths-Puffer is now 9-5-4 overall on the season and will host Zeeland East on the O-K Green Conference tournament on Monday.
