Thomas McCullough and Dayton Thomas rushed for a combined 262 yards and six touchdowns to lead Ravenna to a 55-19 victory over Central Montcalm on Friday.
McCullough put the Bulldogs on the board with a seven-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.
Central Montcalm’s Mitchell Herald tied the game with a 27-yard run, closing the first quarter with a 7-7 tie.
McCullough scored his second of the game just seven seconds into the second quarter with a 26-yard run.
Carter Schullo recovered a blocked punt from Central Montcalm’s Blake Guilford and returned it for a touchdown. Thomas scored the final touchdown of the half with a 72-yard run to put Ravenna ahead 28-7 heading into the locker room.
Thomas scored his second touchdown with a seven-yard run in the third quarter, while McCullough scored his third and final touchdown with an incredible 91-yard run to give Ravenna a 41-7 lead.
Central Montcalm’s Isaac Johnson added six points with 59-yard run to cut the Bulldogs’ lead to 41-13 heading into the fourth quarter.
Kaleb Crooks scored another touchdown for Central Montcalm on a three-yard run to make it 41-29.
Thomas then ran in a two-yard touchdown for his final touchdown of the night before Owen Scott closed out the scoring with a 35-yard fumble return for a touchdown.
McCullough led the Bulldogs offense with 168 rushing yards and three touchdowns, followed by Thomas with 94 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
Ravenna’s defense was paced by Zeke Thompson with nine tackles on the night, while Brandon McFarren added eight.
The Bulldogs finished the regular season with a 6-3 record.
