The North Muskegon boys soccer team liked its chances in the regional final, especially if the contest involved an overtime period.
The Norse kept the contest scoreless until late into the contest but allowed a goal on a free kick by Jonathan Stout.
Stout’s goal became the only tally of the game as North Muskegon fell to Wyoming Potter’s House 1-0 on Thursday in Division 4 regional finals action.
Potter’s House outshot the Norse by a slim 6-5 margin.
The Norse finished their season with an 11-12-2 overall record.
