A touchdown with six seconds remaining gave Muskegon Catholic a 24-16 victory over Centreville on Friday night.

With the game tied 16-16, quarterback Elliot Riegler found Sam Convertini from 22 yards out for the game winning touchdown pass.

The Crusaders scored first in the opening quarter when Joe Waller punched in a three-yard rushing touchdown, putting the Crusader ahead 8-0.

In the third quarter, Riegler found David Hill for a 30-yard touchdown pass to increase the Muskegon Cathoic lead to 16-0.

Centreville scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 16-16, with the second score coming with just 1:48 left.

Muskegon Catholic took all but six seconds off the clock on the game-winning touchdown drive.

Reigler finished with 113 yards and two touchdowns on 6-of-10 passing while also totaling 44 yards on 10 carries.

Hill also finished with 44 yards rushing on the night while Convertini had 120 yards and one touchdown on five catches while also adding 41 yards on one pass.

The defense was led by Tommy Kartes with 10 tackles on the night.

Muskegon Catholic is now 7-1 overall on the season and will finish the regular season at Oakridge next week.
