Montague finishes regular season 6-3 overall after falling 31-6 at Portland

The Montague regular season came to an end on Friday night with a 31-6 loss at Portland.

The Wildcats trailed 14-0 after one quarter of play.

Andrew Kooi punched in a two-yard touchdown run with 7:09 left in the second quarter to cut the Montague deficit to 14-6.

Portland responded with a touchdown before halftime to make the score 21-6.

Portland added seven points in the third quarter and a field goal in the fourth quarter to pull away.

Montague will find out their playoff opponent and location of game on Sunday when the playoff brackets are announced.
