Ryan Francis had a solid night with 116 rushing yards and a touchdown, but Grand Haven lost to Grandville 50-7 on Friday night.
The Buccaneers fell behind 14-0 after one quarter and trailed 28-0 in the second quarter.
Grand Haven got on the board in the second quarter with a 14-yard touchdown run by Francis to cut the deficit to 28-7.
Grand Haven gave up a touchdown before halftime and trailed 36-7 as they headed to the locker room.
Touchdowns in both the third and fourth quarters by Grandville made the final score 50-7
Owen Worthington finished with 47 passing yards on the night while Bashir Neely totaled 60 yards on two receptions.
Worthington led the defense with 10 total tackles on the night.
Grand Haven is now 3-3 overall and 2-2 in O-K Red Conference play. They’ll host Hudsonville next week.
